    NEXT EXHIBITION

LA COMPAGNIE DES GUIDES DE CHAMONIX: A HISTORY OF ADAPTATION

    From June 19, 2021 to May 14, 2022

Since its creation, the Company has been able to adapt to political, sociological and tourist developments as well as to the mountain itself, to the development of mountaineering and to climate change. Thanks to a rich iconography, archive documents and unpublished objects, the exhibition presents the history of this prestigious institution and of the profession of guide in the Mont-Blanc massif.
