This museum recreates rural life in the mountains with reconstructions of rooms from traditional houses and displays of traditional objects used in the Chamonix valley in the past.

Opening times

Open only during French school holidays:

  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:

2pm - 6pm

  • Everyday (except Tuesday) in July and August:

2.30pm - 6pm

  • Closed January 1, May 1 and December 25

 

During your visit, please respect the health precautions below:

  • washing your hands at the entrance is mandatory
  • wearing a mask is mandatory from 6 years old
  • maintain a safety distance
